Hello Mr. Skeel ! I stumbled onto this astonishing portrait of this beautiful young lady while browsing through your website ! This is such a beautiful piece of work I must say ! Im very very intrigued by the technique used for this one ! Would you please elaborate on the technique for this particular portrait? This is indeed a MARVELOUS piece ! glad i saw this !

I am glad you like the portrait of my beautiful wife. There are four secrets of how I did this painting:
1. I knew the person who's portrait I was going to paint very well. 2. A lot of patience taking the portrait photos. 3. I took the two photos that reminded me most of her. Then morphed them and found a place between them that was closer to my idea of her. Then I found a third photo I could morph with the morphed version to get even closer to my idea of the essens of my wife. 4. I spend a lot of time painting it. I just used the final morphed photo to refer to. No projector or other tehcniqally help at that time.

Wow !! That is an incredible process !
There is so much beautiful art around and every Artist has his or her own individual and unique way for painting what he wishes to express !
And it is a very educating aswell as liberating to understand all the hardwork and preparation that goes into a painting !
Kudos to you for being such a master! hope to learn a lot from you in the coming years !
