Adjusted color - I assume that this is the color that the recipe will actually mix i.e. this is the closest the recpipe can come to matching the exact color I have selected? Thanks
To get a RGB colorspace converted to physical paint’s colorspace cannot be done directly. The first thing needed for the two colorspaces to match is to make their darkest and lightest colors match. That is what the adjustment do. The reason we have made it possible for the user to alter the adjustment is that it is a way to adjust how the painting will look. If the detault adjustment number for a paint set is 25 the painting will get more contrast and saturation when the number is set lower and it will get less contrast and less saturation if it is set higher. The DE number in the upper right corner of each recipe shows how close the mix will be to the target color. DE 0 is when the when the mix is a perfect match.
